Stafford House Study Holidays
We aim to provide a programme of active, communicative lessons, using a syllabus designed specifically for use in summer schools. The materials we use are all chosen especially for our courses, and include the latest course books for younger learners. All students also receive a printed Student File with useful information on British culture and language.
We emphasise, with equal importance, both the classroom and leisure parts of the programme and, wherever possible, link the two together. Our aim is simple: to encourage the students to use the language rather than to "learn about" the language. We try to do this by encouraging students to use the language in realistic, cultural and fun situations, and we implement this by providing a weekly framework of course book instruction and communicative activities (role-plays, games etc.).
